A magnitude 4.8 earthquake has struck the Katla Volcano, Iceland at a depth of 5.2 km (3.1 miles), the quake hit at 01:06:20 UTC Thursday 6th October 2011.The epicenter was 25 km ( 15.3 miles) Southwest of Grimsey, Iceland
No reports of Damage or Injuries reported at this time
