A magnitude 5.0 earthquake has struck the Reykjavik Ridge, Iceland at a depth of 10 km (6.2 miles), the quake hit at 00:03:04 UTC Thursday 6th October 2011.The epicenter was 890 km ( 553 miles) Southwest of Reykjavik, Iceland
No Tsunami Warning Issued - No reports of Damage or Injuries reported at this time
