A magnitude 5.4 earthquake has struck Eastern Turkey at a depth of just 80 km (49.6 miles), the quake hit at 10:56:54 UTC Sunday 23rd October 2011.The epicenter was 28 km ( 17.3 miles) Northeast of Van, Turkey
