A magnitude 5.5 earthquake has struck near the Coast of Central Peru at a depth of 19.7 km ( 12.2 miles), the quake hit at 23:46:03 UTC Friday 28th October 2011.The epicenter was 55 km ( 34 miles) SSW from Ica, Peru
