A magnitude 5.3 earthquake has struck the Kepulauan Mentawai Region, Indonesia at a depth of 20.3 km ( 12.6 miles), the quake hit at 03:38:50 UTC Wednesday 26th October 2011.The epicenter was 173 km ( 107 miles) SSW from Padang, Sumatra, Indonesia
