A magnitude 5.2 earthquake has struck the Hakkari Region in Turkey near the Iraq Border at a depth of 14 km ( 8.7 miles), the quake hit at 08:04:23 UTC Thursday 27th October 2011.The epicenter was 38 km ( 24 miles) SSE of Hakkari, Turkey
