A magnitude 5.1 earthquake has struck Eastern Turkey at a depth of just 9.6 km ( 6 miles), the quake hit at 18:10:46 UTC Sunday 23rd October 2011.The epicenter was 20 km ( 12 miles) WNW of Van, Turkey
