A magnitude 5.3 earthquake has struck The Izu Islands, Japan at a depth of 10.2 km ( 6.3 miles), the quake hit at 19:34:12 UTC Tuesday 25th October 2011.The epicenter was 180 km ( 111 miles) Southwest of Hachijo-Jima, Izu Islands, Japan
