A magnitude 5.0 earthquake has struck Southern Texas at a depth of just 5 km (3.1 miles), the quake hit at 12:24:40 UTC Thursday 20th October 2011.The epicenter was 22 km ( 14 miles) Northwest of Pawnee, Texas
